Guiding Innovation

With our CEO, Dr. Georgios Pipelidis, and our CTO, Nikos Tsiamitros, we embarked on a bold journey to bring the power of online analytics to the physical world.

2016

The First Thread

Ariadne made its debut by winning the Best Mobility Application Award at MICC, a prestigious German mobility competition. Competing among top Bavarian university teams, Ariadne secured second place and a €12,000 prize for its innovative approach to connected mobility.

Charting the Labyrinth

We advanced our indoor positioning technology and prepared to enter the global stage of innovation, culminating in our participation in IPIN 2018’s competitive field.

Victory in Precision

Ariadne earned the Precise Positioning Award at IPIN 2018, outperforming giants like Google, IBM, Samsung, Cisco, and Sony. The award recognized the most accurate indoor localization solution in a real-world.

Illuminating the Path

In partnership with Ferrovial, Ariadne received a research grant to deploy advanced crowd analytics at Glasgow Airport, marking our breakthrough in passenger analytics.

Forging Our Destiny

Major contracts, including a landmark deal with Deutsche Bahn, accelerated our growth and led to our incorporation as a UG (Unternehmergesellschaft), reinforcing our digital transformation mission.

Weaving Innovation

Pre-seed funding from Sasya Terra and the European Innovation Fund fueled our early expansion and technological development.

A successful Seed Round, led by Marathon Venture Capital, marked a pivotal expansion phase and our transition into a GmbH, reflecting our evolving market presence.

Sensor Odyssey

Ariadne's impact grew as we installed over 1,000 sensors in prominent locations such as San Diego Airport, IKEA, Chicago RTA, and MediaMarkt, showcasing widespread adoption.

We closed our Series A funding round, led by Marathon VC with participation from Lamda Development, Cloud 9, Latsco, and EMFT, further accelerating our global growth.
